By accessing or using https://etudiantly.com (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

Etudiantly is a student marketplace hub connecting students across Europe with verified partners offering housing, books, furniture, appliances, technology, and daily essentials. We facilitate transactions between buyers and verified sellers but are not a party to the underlying sale contract unless expressly stated.

To use Etudiantly, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old (or have parental consent)
• Be a student or affiliated with a recognized educational institution (for student pricing)
• Provide accurate registration information

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring your information is accurate and current
• Reporting unauthorized access immediately

5.1 For Buyers

• Provide accurate delivery information
• Complete payment through approved methods (Stripe)
• Report any issues promptly

5.2 For Verified Partners

• Maintain accurate product descriptions and images
• Honor listed prices and availability
• Fulfill orders in a timely manner
• Comply with all applicable consumer protection laws

6.1 Payment Processing

All payments are processed via Stripe in euros. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

6.2 Test Transactions

During preview phases, payments may be simulated for testing purposes. No real charge will be made unless explicitly stated.

6.3 Pricing

Prices are displayed in euros and include applicable taxes where required. Student prices are available to eligible verified users.

Etudiantly provides a protected order flow: buyer selects product, secure payment via Stripe, tracked delivery, and order confirmation. Detailed protection terms are available in our Protection Policy.

Delivery times and costs vary by location and partner. Estimated delivery information is provided at checkout. Risk of loss passes to the buyer upon delivery to the designated address.

Return and refund policies are set by individual verified partners and must comply with applicable European consumer protection laws. Buyers should review partner-specific policies before purchase.

You may not:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Infringe intellectual property rights
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate others
• Use automated tools to scrape or manipulate the Platform
• Engage in any activity that disrupts Platform operations

Etudiantly is a student marketplace and community hub — it is not a dating service. The forum, private messages, and handover chats exist solely for buying, selling, delivering, and discussing student life topics.

Any dating, flirting, sexual solicitation, harassment, or unwanted romantic advances on the forum, in chat conversations, or anywhere on the Platform will result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of the user account, without prior warning. Repeated or severe behavior may be reported to the relevant authorities.

All Platform content, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is owned by Etudiantly or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

By posting content (reviews, photos, etc.), you grant Etudiantly a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with the Platform.

You represent that you own or have rights to any content you post and that it does not violate third-party rights.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." Etudiantly does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Product descriptions are provided by partners, and we do not guarantee their accuracy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Etudiantly shall not be liable for:

• Disputes between buyers and partners
• Quality, safety, or legality of listed items
• Delivery delays or failures by partners
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the transaction giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Etudiantly from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or for any reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of France, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence.

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be notified via email or Platform notice.
